Dolos, previously Panda Security Africa, opened its offices in 2006 as the local office for the vendor Panda Security International. In 2020 Panda Security International was acquired by WatchGuard Technology with the brand being absorbed into the WatchGuard portfolio.
Dolos is the new face of Panda Security Africa. In 2021 Dolos was appointed as a master distributor for the WatchGuard brand in Africa, the change enabled us to expand our offerings, delivering a full suite of cybersecurity solutions. Expect to see more additions in the future as we build our portfolio of leading security solutions to complement the existing portfolio.

A dolos is a reinforced concrete block in a complex geometric shape. Invented here in South Africa, they are used in large numbers to protect coastlines from the erosive force of the ocean. We felt this name perfectly captured the role of our solutions, protecting us from the dynamic and unique cybersecurity challenges faced by every organisation.
